The Natural Forest Standard welcomes the ICVCM’s efforts to raise the bar on integrity and transparency in the production of credits for the voluntary carbon market. NFS Program Director, Dr Richard Tipper particularly welcomed the inclusion of transparency as one of the core principles promoted by the initiative.
”While some of the legacy standards are pushing back against the scrutiny being applied by or as a result of the ICVCM, the NFS welcomes the initiative and the transparency and consistency that will be applied to projects as a result.
